I am a self taught mosaic artist.  I started by taking a stained glass class. I quickly learned that I wasn’t very good at being contained to a pattern. My passion for mosaics began when I starting sketching on a piece of wood which I then proceeded to “color” in with stained glass that I had left over from my classes. As the saying goes, "The rest is history."

I love the whimsical emotion of the art and the concept that everything is made up of tiny pieces. If you take a step back you can see the whole picture more clearly.  My designs all start with a basic idea but nothing concrete. I like to “doodle” in stained glass. I never know exactly where it might wind up. Mosaics are all about a flow and I get lost in that flow.

I love mosaics so much that I even began painting in a mosaic style.  I had a dining room set that needed some TLC.  Instead of refinishing it I decided to paint it.  I loved it & other people did too and soon the orders came in.  I only take custom orders.  If you are interested please contact me for a consultation.  If you live along I-25 in Colorado/ New Mexico I will deliver.
